12"x12" Encaustic floral abstract from imagination. I still paint the figure and face but have been experimenting more with water and florals. My encaustic paintings are painted entirely with molten, pigmented beeswax (no photocopy or collage), with each layer of wax fused to underneath layers with a propane torch. -Janet Amundson-Splidsboel
